The Town of Guilford is honored to announce that it will be hosting the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, a poignant and powerful tribute to the brave men and women who served in the Vietnam War. The Wall will be on display at the Guilford Athletic fields starting with an opening ceremony at 6 pm on July 2. The town is eagerly looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to pay their respects.
Schedule of Events and Open Hours of Visitation
Opening Ceremony, Tuesday July 2 at 6 p.m. Following the ceremony the site is open until 9 p.m.
Wednesday July 3rd through Friday July 5th the site is open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday July 6th the site is open 9 a.m. through sunset. Closing ceremony to be held at at sunset.
The Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought in one of the most significant conflicts in our nation’s history. Guilford is proud to be able to provide a space for reflection and remembrance, and to show our deep appreciation for the service and dedication of our veterans.
The Town of Guilford invites everyone to join us in commemorating the legacy of our Vietnam veterans and honoring their enduring impact on our nation. This is a unique opportunity for individuals to come together and reflect on the profound significance of this chapter in our history.

Donations are needed to cover the costs of bringing the wall to our community. Any amount recieved in excess of those costs will be set aside to add names and make improvements to the Town of Guilford Veterans Memorial.
